I have been licensed as IW9HEN since May 1999 and i have enjoyed periods of HF activity mixed with various long absences from the hobby caused by work and family commitments. The home rig is an Elecraft K2, used mainly on 40 through 10 metres with a Doublet antenna. Most operation is on 40 metres CW, which is my favourite band and mode. I am very rarely found on other modes from home although I still maintain a technical interest in PSK31, which is quite suited to low power operation.
